Logline
Recipients of the infamous Darwin Awards finally get their fifteen minutes of fame—posthumously.
Synopsis
Every year, a few of Earth’s citizens validate the theory of natural selection in the most peculiar,
often unfortunate manners. Their oft-deserved yet untimely ends earn them a not-so-coveted
Darwin Award and a few seconds of mention on morning drive talk radio. But what if there
were more to their stories?
We use these bizarre documented last moments of life to extrapolate more info about the deceased,
and then tell gripping short stories about their final hours. Names can be changed. Stories completely
fabricated. But the deaths...they stay true to life. Sometimes truth is stranger, and more captivating,
than fiction.
